Graduation day

"A chord of three strands is not easily broken" Today at my daughter'sraduation I witnessed African americans, Filipinos, Muslims, Hispanics, Anglosaxons and many others become, lawyers, teachers, nurses, businesspeople, engineers etc.. These are the sons and daughters of former slaves, political and economical refugees looking for a brighter future. While this is not exclusive to the U.S. it is certainly more common than any other country in the world, proof to the wisdom of our founding documents. In these turbulent economical and political times let us not become wary and continue to fight and preserve our very way of life. To the graduates congratulations!
