If you’re a son of a fisherman
You know you’re not too hungry to eat the bait
You know that the sea sickness will pass away
Those cuts, they will heal!
The best time is between night time and sunrise,
Afternoon and sundown (depending on the tide)
Incoming tide, slack high, ebb tide, slack ebb
What a swivel, a spoon, a skirt, a gaff can do
That sharks taste good!
Catfish taste good!
Sea trout are better
But Grouper and snapper are best!
Can’t beat live bait…but a well placed yozuri is deadly!
Love lights at nights, garbage at day!
When you can’t see land every one is your friend
Shrimp is your friend
A fish can pull your boat
You better have two of everything
Wd-40 will save your live
Better have good cutters, and a sharp knife
At times bug repellant
Know how to catch your bait, your fish, clean them and cook them
And still make it taste like chicken!
Know where the hell you’re going and how to get back!

A Poem filled with Great Memories.
